Psoralea corylifolia Fructus (PCF) (Fig. 7) was first recorded by Lei Gong’ Pao Zhi Lun (Lei Gong Treatise on the Herb Preparation, during the 5th century). It is the dry fruit of P. corylifolia L. [96]. In Chinese Medicine, Psoralea Fructus can tonify kidney Yang, replenish spleen Yang to stop diarrhea. It is also effective in treating impotence and spermatorrhea due to kidney Yang deficiency, as well lumbago, diarrhea, and dyspnoea caused by kidney Yang and spleen Yang deficiency
